Dr. Lee Drinkard, M.D.

As an experienced oncologist with a specialty in breast cancer, colon cancer, lung cancer, and blood disorders, Dr. Lee Drinkard is always concerned with providing his patients with access to the most state-of-the-art treatments. Dr. Drinkard earned his medical degree from West Virginia University before completing his internship and residency at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Before beginning his practice, Dr. Drinkard also completed a three-year fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the University Of Chicago Medical Center.

Today, Dr. Drinkard is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in medical oncology and hematology. His commitment to staying on the cutting-edge of cancer care has inspired Dr. Drinkard to participate in many national clinical trials throughout the years, as well as author a variety of studies focused on medical oncology. In addition to seeing patients at Lewisville/Flower Mound Oncology Group, Las Colinas Cancer Center, and Southlake Oncology, Dr. Drinkard is a part of the clinical faculty at the University of Texas Southwestern School of Medicine. Dr. Drinkard is a resident of Las Colinas and enjoys exploring computer technology as well as studying history and religion.
